1. Read text page 280: "Avoid Sexist Language"
and "Avoid Offensive Usage of All Types."
2. Read Page 3. in the blue handout: II "Sexist
(Gender Bias) and Biased Language" and complete
the exercise at the bottom of Page 3., which
is continued on Page 4. Write your answers on the
blue handout.
3. Read text page 254 "Avoid Wordy Phrases,"
"Eliminate Redundancy," and "Avoid Needless
Repetition." In the blue handout on Page 4,
complete III "Wordiness" by writing in the blue
handout and complete IV. "Redundancy" by writing
in the blue handout.
4. Read the yellow handout on the research report.
You should select three or four topics for your
research report. We will go to the library to
receive training on online research.
