1. On the handout, read the article "One way or
another,we'll pay for a high dropout rate" by
Arnold Garcis Jr. On the back of the article
sheet, answer the seven questions.
2. Find, print, read, and mark at least one
article that relates to your research topic.
Complete the Research Article Summary Sheet
for this article. Staple the summary sheet
on top of the research article that you printed
and hand both in.
3. Read text page 254 "Avoid Wordy Phrases,"
"Eliminate Redundancy," and "Avoid Needless
Repetition." By following the directions in the
blue handout on Page 4, complete III "Wordiness"
by writing in the blue handout and complete
IV. "Redundancy" by writing in the blue handout.
