3.On page 12 of the Study Guide for Exam I on the textbook,
you have an assignment for a memo. The subject is already
narrowed foryou [classroom Valentine's Day party], now write
a Purpose Statement and then brainstorm possible questions that
the students may have [what is the date, how long will it last,
what refreshments, who will provide the refreshments,
do I have to bring anything,is there a cost, how much if there
is a cost, is this at the first or at the end of the period,
plus any other questions that you can think of]. Follow the
instructions on the assignment sheet [page 12]. Use the PRO
plan to develop your paragraphs. You should prepare these:
(1) a brainstorm on the topic [valentine's Day class party];
(2)a typed draft of the memo with corrections written ON THE DRAFT;
and (3) a corrected final copy of the memo. Staple these with the
final copy of the memo on TOP. Follow the correct format for a memo.
