1. Complete the Study Guide for Chapter 20 "Technical Definitions.
and for chapter 12 "Organizing for Users."
2. Prepare a draft of your resume using either the sample
resumes from the handout or templates from your computer
if you know where to find them. I will show you where to
find templates on Windows 2007.
3.Continue to find articles for your research. Two
articles will be due on 11/05. Remember to read
and underline the information in the artciles and to complet
a Research Summary sheet for EACH ARTICLE.

Due Monday 11/03/08 or Tuesday 11/04/08

1. Complete the Study Guide for Chapter 20 "Technical Definitions.

1. Find and print two articles for your research topic.
Read and underline information that you think will be
useful for your research.
2. Complete Study Guide Chapters 12 and 15. If
you do not have a copy of the Study Guide, you
can get one in the outer office across from Room 207.
3. In class or in the outer office, you can get also
a copy of the Research Article Summary sheet where
you can copy the relevant information that you have
underlined in the research articles. You will need
one summary sheet for each research article.
4. Be sure that you have prepared the employment
information that was mentioned in the last blog so
that we can discuss your resume.

Due Wednesday night 10/29/08

1. Complete the Study Guide for Chapter 14
"Designing Visual Information."
2. Investigate the articles for your research topic
because one article will be due on Wednesday 10/29,
two more articles will be be due on Wednesday 11/05,
and the final two articles will be due on Wednesday 1
11/12. Five articles is the minimum; you can have more.

the Study Guide.

1. Be sure that all chapters in your Study Guide
have been completed. If you have any questions,
be sure to ask them on Monday or Tuesday.
2. Your Exam over the Study Guide will be on 10/20/08
for the Monday class and 10/21/08 for the Tuesday class.
