Chapter 1 "Introduction to Technical Communitations"
page.
2. Learn these four terms and definitions: (1) Abstract--
something ideal; intangible; an idea, a principle or a
standard. (2) Concrete--can be experienced by the senses;
(3) Objective--factual; contains no personal opinion bias
or opinion. (4) Subjective--words influenced by personal
opinion or bias.
3. Read "Writing Informational Memorandums" on pages 10
and 11 of the handout.
