1. Complete the Study Guide for Chapter 15
"Designing Pages and Documents."
2. Prepare a horizontal bar graph and a pie chart
based on the following information: In 1998, a report
was released by the U. S. Justice Department on
gang activity. The number of gangs in the top
ten states included Arizona 974; California 4,927;
Colorado 1,304; Florida 793; Illinois 1,363;
Missouri 740; Oregon 653; Texas 3,276; Utah 598;
Washington 668. In the pie chart, show the states
and the percent of their total gang activity.
In the horizontal bar graph, show the states in order
from the state with the most gangs to the state
with the least gangs. Hand draw; be neat.
3. Very carefully revise your Hard Hat memo.
Remember to hand in the revised copy along with the
orignial (red marked) copy.
