DAY CLASSES:
(1) Complete the Study Guide for Chapter 15 Designing Pages and Documents.
(2) Write a list of guidelines for preparing charts and graphs [e.g. for a pie chart place a title at the top, cite the source, have no less than two or more than eight segments, etc.]. These guidelines can come from you assignment sheet for Visual Exercise #1, your text, and our class notes.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASS:
Do the same as the day classes except that you will also complete the Study Guide for Chapter 20 Technical Definitions.

All Technical Writing Classes for the first class on next week

Each class is to draw Visuals Exercise #1. Draw the visual by hand but be sure that it is neat. Have it ready to hand in at the first of the period.

Tech Writing Wednesday 6 P. M.

ASSIGNMENT FOR FEB 20 (MW) AND FEB 21 (TT)

Complete the Hard Hat Memo assignment following the instructions on the assignment sheet. The final copy of the memo is due at the beginning of the class period. In the Study Guide, complete Chapter 18 Letters and Employment Correspondence. In addition, if you did not receive a check on the Interview paper, write a corrected copy. If you did receive a check, the interview paper is ready to go into your Portfoflio.

Asssignment for 2/14 (MW) abd 2/15 (TT)

For the class period following the exam: (1) Complete the Study Guide for Chapter 14; (2) Assume that you are an employee in a construction company and that the company announces a new policythat Hard Hats will be mandatory whenever an employee works in Posted Construction Areas. As an employee, what questions do you have concerning this new policy? What concerns to you want management to answer? Brainstorm these questions and prepare a list of questions for next period. All I want is your list of brainstormed questions followint the brainstorming process. Read the Hard Hat Memo assignment sheet and complete Step 1 in the Process.
