1.On text page 761, read "Faulty Parallelism." On
page 15 of the blue handout, complete the first seven
sentences of the Exercise on Parallelism. If you
don't understand parallelism, Google "parallelism" and
click on 'owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/grammar'
2. Prepare a rough outline for your research paper.
Use the brainstorming technique where you put together
similar ideas from different articles. This is your first
step towards writing an outline and preparing a thesis
statement concerning your research paper.
